Tent With Screen-In Porch-A Great Idea!
Coleman Elite WeatherMaster 6 Tent
One of my least favorite things about sleeping in a tent and camping out is bugs, more specifically mosquitoes. Being a bug magnet has always been a problem for me. They come after me when I walk out the door of my house and pursue me into my vehicles without mercy.
Deflecting Bugs
I use bug sprays and creams to deflect their biting and if a spot was missed during the application process of the bug off product, then there will be a bite on me someplace. Recently there have been ads on TV for a clip-on Off product with a fan. I haven’t tried it yet and would love to here from anyone who used this product. The feature that appealed to me most was you didn’t have to apply anything topically on your skin.
That is why I think this is such a great idea for a tent with a screened-in porch. You could eat or sit inside the screened area enjoy the fresh air and nature sounds without the exposure to the bugs. I’m sure there are others who would love to camp out, if it were not for being bitten.
